It is indeed an honor to serve as the principal of Holmes Road Elementary School, the home of the Mighty Lions. I truly believe that all children can learn, grow, develop and succeed. Thus, at Holmes Road Elementary, we build POWER, LOVE and KNOWLEDGE and ensure our students are armed with the academic skills to be competitive, self-managed, socially aware, life-long learners.
The faculty and staff of Holmes Road work diligently to create an orderly, safe environment. With the help of our parents and community members providing continuous feedback and school involvement, all students will meet their individual and school-wide goals, master foundational skills, and overcome every challenge.
Finally, I am happy to announce that Holmes Road Elementary was designated as a Level 5 school for the 2018-2019 school year, and earned Reward Status from the State of Tennessee. As we work, together, as a team, I have no doubt that we will reach our goals, and continue this status, year, after year.

Instructional Curriculum
As another year in schools and classrooms open, I want to take this opportunity to wish teachers, students, parents and community the absolute best during the 2025-2026 school year. I will serve as your Instructional Curriculum Coach, leading Mathematics, this school year. I am excited to work alongside each of you as we journey into a world of teaching and learning. As leaders of learning, we help to motivate and inspire students every day which makes me excited about the endless possibilities ahead. Many diverse learning experiences will take place for students and our presence is the start of ensuring high levels of learning exist for all students.
Our goal as educators and families is to challenge students intellectually and guide them towards independent thinking and problem solving to promote healthy development in all aspects of their lives. It is important to encourage students to demonstrate the best of themselves every moment of every day and to make positive contributions to their educational success. I am sure our commitment to excellence, combined with all the hard work we do will create yet another cohort of active, engaged learners. Let's have a successful academic year here at Holmes Road Elementary School.
